Everybody wants spirituality. To be a good person means to walk in G-d's ways. How does that translate to reality? The only guidebook to spirituality that has stood the test of time is the Hebrew Bible. The Bible says that the Jews will be a light onto the nations. But if you are not a born Jew, you have to convert, which is not so easy!! If you do convert, it is a lot of work to be a Jew (three times a day prayer, keeping kosher, observing the Sabbath).
This blog will show you how to be Jewish without the work!!

Defying Leftist Claims of ‘Settler Violence’ Judea & Samaria Crime Rate Remains Lowest in Israel By David Israel -Sleepless Jokes and MSNBC: White people are too stupid to understand Will Smith’s slap and B’nai B’rith Releases New Guide on Growing Threat of Online Antisemitism
Yehuda Lave is an author, journalist, psychologist, rabbi, spiritual teacher, and coach, with degrees in business, psychology and Jewish Law. He works with people from all walks of life and helps them in their search for greater happiness, meaning, business advice on saving money, and spiritual engagement.
The Three are Rabbi Yehuda Glick, famous temple mount activist, and former Israel Mk, and then Robert Weinger, the world's greatest shofar blower and seller of Shofars, and myself after we had gone to the 12 gates of the Temple Mount in 2020 to blow the shofar to ask G-d to heal the world from the Pandemic. It was a highlight to my experience in living in Israel and I put it on my blog each day to remember.
The articles that I include each day are those that I find interesting, so I feel you will find them interesting as well. I don't always agree with all the points of each article but found them interesting or important to share with you, my readers, and friends. It is cathartic for me to share my thoughts and frustrations with you about life in general and in Israel. As a Rabbi, I try to teach and share the Torah of the G-d of Israel as a modern Orthodox Rabbi. I never intend to offend anyone but sometimes people are offended and I apologize in advance for any mistakes. The most important psychological principle I have learned is that once someone's mind is made up, they don't want to be bothered with the facts, so, like Rabbi Akiva, I drip water (Torah is compared to water) on their made-up minds and hope that some of what I have share sinks in. Love Rabbi Yehuda Lave.

The narrative according to which the settler community in Judea and Samaria are violent is common among the left-wing parties and has reached Knesset committee meetings and even ministerial cabinet meetings. Recently, a left-wing Knesset lobby held an event headlined "Stopping Settler Violence."
In early February, Defense Minister Benny Gantz visited several locations in Samaria, having convened joint think tanks for the police and the army set up to act against "settlers' violence." Gantz and his entourage have come up with the dubious notion of "violent settlers," blaming half a million law-abiding, taxpaying, reserve serving Israeli Jews for a scattering of mostly unproven encounters that in reality are drowned out by the thousands of ever-present, incessant, murderous Arab attacks (Gantz Bullish on Prosecuting 'Violent Settlers,' Ignoring Raging Arab Violence).
In late March, only hours before two Arab terrorists killed two Israeli police officers and critically wounded four more in a shooting attack in Hadera, and five days after a terror attack in Be'er Sheva took the lives of four Israelis dead and injured two more, the visiting Secretary of State Antony Blinken said at a joint briefing with Prime Minister Naftali Bennett that he and the prime minister discussed ways to "prevent actions on all sides that could raise tensions" (Blinken Attacks 'Settler Violence,' No Mention of Pre-Ramadan Terror Attacks).
On Friday, Makor Rishon dug into the official statistics of the Judea and Samaria police district and showed that it has the lowest number of violent incidents compared to all the other districts in Israel.
For instance, in the southern district in 2019, the number of recorded violent incidents was more than 30,000. The central district recorded similar numbers. In the same year, in the Judea and Samaria district, with close to half a million residents, police launched only 4,456 investigations of violence.
When allowing for population size differences, the statistics show that only 1% of the Judea and Samaria settler communities were involved in violence investigations, compared to 2.6% of the population in southern and central Israel.
In 2020, there were 4,843 violence files in Judea and Samaria, compared with the Tel Aviv district with 23,456. Allowing for the population size difference, 1.7% of the residents of Tel Aviv were involved in violence, compared with only 1% in Judea and Samaria.
It appears that "agricultural crime," typically perpetrated against Jewish farmers by Arab and Bedouin robbers, is also much lower in Judea and Samaria than elsewhere in Israel. In 2020, northern Israel saw 365 cases of agricultural crime; southern Israel 257; Judea and Samaria only 47.
As to the notorious "tag me'hir" (price tag) attacks against Arab property––mostly graffiti and damage to cars––in 2019 there were 36 such cases. And there has been a constant decline in those cases since: in 2020, there were only 18 cases; in 2021 only 7.
All of this did not prevent Internal Security Minister Omer Barlev from tweeting, back on December 13, 2021: "I met today with the Under Secretary of State of the United States, Ms. Victoria Nuland. The Under Secretary of State was interested, among other things, in settler violence and how to reduce tensions in the region and strengthen the Palestinian Authority."
One had to practically check if Minister Barlev was working for the Israeli side in the conflict and not, say, the Palestinian Authority. As Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked (Yamina) quickly noted in a tweet about one hour later: "You were confused, the settlers are the salt of the earth, heirs of the pioneers of the valley and the mountain. The violence that should shock us is in the form of dozens of cases of stone-throwing and stabbing of Jews that happen every day – just because they are Jews, and all this with the encouragement and support of the PA. I encourage you to talk about this violence with Ms. Nuland."
Minister Barlev responded with another infuriating and self-righteous tweet: "I understand that it's really difficult for some of you to put a mirror in front of your faces about the fact that extremist settler violence is crossing the whole world and foreign governments are interested in the issue. I recommend for those who have difficulty, to drink a glass of water. I will continue to fight Palestinian terrorism as if there is no extremist settler violence – and extremist settler violence as if there is no Palestinian terrorism."
Incidentally, back in December 2012, when Victoria Nuland was the spokesperson for the State Dept., she told reporters in response to Israel's decision to add housing units to Ramat Shlomo, a neighborhood inside Jerusalem: "We are deeply disappointed that Israel insists on continuing this pattern of provocative action. These repeated announcements and plans of new construction run counter to the cause of peace. Israel's leaders continually say that they support a path towards a two-state solution, yet these actions only put that goal further at risk."
For the record, Ramat Shlomo is located in northern Jerusalem, between Ramot and the Har Hotzvim Industrial Park. The area was empty before the reunification of Jerusalem in 1967. Nuland might as well have complained about new housing construction in Tel Aviv.
When an Israeli minister approaches an American official who is so hostile to Israel, she gets angry when it builds inside the "green line," the minister should defend the security of half a million Israeli citizens – not help her point them out as the cause of violence.
But I digress. The reality is that folks on the left don't wish to be confused by facts, stats, the sciency things. They know settlers are violent, and that's that. Like the little old lady told Bertrand Russell: "You're very clever, young man, very clever, but it's turtles all the way down!"
Oh, look it up…
NBC: White people are too stupid to understand Will Smith's slap

Imagine if anyone on TV had said that anything was "hard to explain to a black person."
Remember the days when racism was bad? Those days are long gone, baby, unless you hold to the currently fashionable fiction that only white people can be racist at all.
If, on the other hand, you still live in the real world, you know that everyone can be racist, and that racism is making a strong comeback in American society today.
That's not because Bull Connor has unleashed his dogs once again and Lester Maddox is back waving his axe handle; instead, it's because it has become acceptable in woke culture to bash white people in ways that, if any other group were being discussed in the same terms, would ruin careers and shut down networks.
But racism against white folks is not just acceptable today; it's a sure-fire means of career advancement.
On MSNBC's The Cross Connection on Sunday, the show's host, Tiffany Cross, asserted that white people didn't understand why black people were telling them not to comment upon Will Smith's still-resounding slap of Chris Rock in front at the Oscars last week. Her guest, TheGrio columnist Michael Harriot, then claimed that it was "hard to explain to a white person what's the difference between an open-handed slap and a punch."
Oh, pick me, sir! Pick me! An open-handed slap is, well, uh, a slap with the open hand, and a punch is delivered with the closed fist. The slap is generally considered to be a gesture of profound contempt, but somewhat less aggressive than a punch. Now, I'm white and all that, and I'm heartily sorry for that, but was my answer correct?
Cross, however, didn't even consider the possibility that some white people might know what she was talking about, declaring that "they," that is, those silly, stupid, benighted whites, "consider it all violent."
Well, yes. That's because it is all violent. But according to Cross, idiot whites are missing the fact that there was "nuance to what happened."
She then launched into a bizarre story that was apparently meant to illustrate why those who have the misfortune to be white should say nothing about the slap.
"I will try to put this in context for our white fellow countrymen as best I can. And really, truly, black America, there's a commonality amongst us all. And if we went to a white person's home, and it was their family dinner, and we were sitting at the table, and the mother hauled off and slapped the father. And everybody at the table has an opinion. You know, the sister is like, 'Mom, you always do this.' And the brother is like, 'I can't believe you're doing this.' And Dad is like, 'You're terrible.' If I weigh in as the guest in this home and I say, 'Yeah, you guys are terrible.' Everybody's like, 'I'm sorry. When did you get an opinion? This is our family table.'"
There's a commonality among us, she said, but then the story she told emphasized that there was no commonality among us. Cross then added, "That's what this moment felt like for many of us. And there's a nuance to what happened that we should get into."
Well, all right, let's get into it. If one is a guest at anyone's home and a fight breaks out, the idea that one must be quiet and say nothing about it is as strange as the breakout of the fight in the first place. Dinner guests generally engage in conversation with the others who are present; they aren't expected to be quiet and respectfully await permission to speak.
What's more, the Academy Awards are not exactly a private setting like someone's family dinner table. The whole world saw the slap, and the idea that one segment of the population is not allowed to talk about it because of the race of that segment of the population is exactly the two-tiered system of rights that was the hallmark of the Jim Crow era.
Imagine if anyone on TV had said that anything was "hard to explain to a black person." The person who said it would be out of a job within minutes and would be the object of scorn and derision from the entire world. Meanwhile, the comment itself would be used as evidence of an ugly recrudescence of racism in America, which would be discussed ad nauseum by hyper-serious television anchors on news feature shows.
But Tiffany Cross and the rest of the media elites constantly tell us that black people cannot be racist. What this means in practice is that when black people are racist, they simply don't see it. It doesn't exist. It has as much media presence as Hunter Biden's laptop before that item became useful to the establishment.
Even when they're racist themselves, the elites don't seem to see what they're doing. But we do.

B'nai B'rith Releases New Guide on Growing Threat of Online Antisemitism
B'nai B'rith International and the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, in partnership with UNESCO, have published a guide on how to assess and combat online anti-Semitism.
B'nai B'rith International said on Thursday that "as the online space becomes increasingly important in the fight against anti-Semitism, the guide "aims to build capacity among civil society to tackle this rapidly growing threat."
"Recognizing the enormous capacity for positive action that the digital space offers, this practical and action-oriented resource aims to consolidate knowledge and provide a wide range of policy and community avenues for action," added the Jewish group.
The guide provides an assessment of the "scope and scale" of online anti-Semitism; a summary of existing policies to counteract the threat on international and national levels across Europe; and recommendations for "civil society engagement with governments, platforms and wider communities to address this challenge."
It ends with a section that focuses on the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance's (IHRA) working definition of anti-Semitism.
"We hope that this guide can serve as an easily adaptable reference point to address the needs of all vulnerable communities on the receiving end of online harm," said the institute.
