Get to Heaven Keep the Seven

Everybody wants spirituality. To be a good person means to walk in G-d's ways. How does that translate to reality? The only guidebook to spirituality that has stood the test of time is the Hebrew Bible. The Bible says that the Jews will be a light onto the nations. But if you are not a born Jew, you have to convert, which is not so easy!! If you do convert, it is a lot of work to be a Jew (three times a day prayer, keeping kosher, observing the Sabbath).

This blog will show you how to be Jewish without the work!!

You can control yourself

When you think, "I just cannot control myself." (e.g. special chocolate, screaming at kids, exercising), there are two tests for whether or not it's true: 1. A GUN: If someone threatened you with a gun (G-d forbid) and said, "I'll kill you if you touch that chocolate." 2. MONEY: If someone said, "If you don't scream at the kid for doing that, I'll put $10,000 in your bank account right now."

Right-wing activist Baruch Marzel visited Evenezer Holhering, a resident of Kiryat Arba who was seriously injured in Friday's terror attack in Gush Etzion, at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem.

In an interview with Arutz Sheva, Marzel said, "I've noticed that the State of Israel has been deteriorating since the Elor Azariya affair. Terrorists are not killed and soldiers do not finish the job and do not make sure that the terrorist is dead. The terrorist is evacuated by MDA to our hospitals and receives treatment for hundreds of thousands of shekels alongside the wounded Jew."

On Friday, they set up a 'mosque' here with 60 people from the [Arab] village and prayed. If I pray here, Hadassah will throw me out. The time has come for the Israeli government to stop humiliating its victims and the people of Israel. The terrorist must not be treated. A terrorist must die as soon as he comes to harm Jews. "

"Jewish families lit Shabbat candles here and one of the terrorists here put out all the candles. They bring the terror into the hospital. Have we gone crazy? To give treatment to a terrorist instead of killing him - that's our morality? 'He who comes to kill you, pamper him first.'" (A play on the phrase from Jewish law, 'He who comes to kill you, kill him first,' ed.)

Hadassah Hospital said, "The terrorist is being guarded and is ineligible for visits - aside from those of his lawyer."

3 Israelis who snuck into PA-controlled city to pray at Joseph's Tomb barely make it out with their lives after locals steal, torch their car.

Three Israelis were rescued by IDF units in the Palestinian Authority-controlled city of Shechem (Nabulus) early Tuesday morning, after they snuck into the city without approval from the local army commander.

IDF forces in Samaria escorted some 1,000 Israeli visitors into Shechem overnight, to visit the site of Joseph's Tomb on the southern edge of the city, an ancient pilgrimage site which once housed the Od Yosef Chai ("Joseph Still Lives") Yeshiva and remains a popular place for prayer.

After the city was handed over to Palestinian Authority control as part of the Oslo agreements of the 1990s, Jewish access to Joseph's Tomb became restricted, and visitors are now required to enter as part of army convoys, with groups of 1,000 permitted in roughly once a month.

Nevertheless, some pilgrims, including members of the Breslov Hassidic movement, have conducted regular visits to the holy site without army authorization, entering Shechem by car overnight, praying, and driving out, typically without incident.

On occasion, however, Israelis visiting Joseph's Tomb have been the victim of terror attacks.

In 2011, Ben Yosef Livnat was murdered and five others wounded when three members of the local PA security force opened fire on a group of Jewish visitors.

Before sunrise early Tuesday morning, a group of three Jewish visitors entered Shechem by car, with no authorization from the regional IDF commander, an army spokesperson reported.

After the three exited their vehicle, however, local Arabs stole the car and torched it, leaving the Israeli visitors stranded.

The three contacted the army for assistance, and were safely extracted from Shechem by an IDF unit. There were no injuries reported.

Israeli police questioned the three visitors over their unauthorized entry into the PA-controlled city before releasing them.

Palestinians: If You Do Not Give Us Everything, We Cannot Trust You

Palestinians: If You Do Not Give Us Everything, We Cannot Trust You

by Bassam Tawil  •  November 21, 2017 at 5:00 am

  • The Palestinians have made up their mind: The Trump peace plan is bad for us and we will not accept it. The plan is bad because it does not force Israel to give the Palestinians everything.

  • If and when the Trump administration makes public its peace plan, the Palestinians will be the first to reject it, simply because it does not meet all their demands.

  • Trump will soon learn that for Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinians, 99% is just not enough.

The Palestinians are once again angry -- this time because the Trump administration does not seem to have endorsed their position regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The Palestinians are also angry because they believe that the Trump administration does not want to force Israel to comply with all their demands.

Here is how the Palestinians see it: If you are not with us, then you must be against us. If you do not accept all our demands, then you must be our enemy and we cannot trust you to play the role of an "honest" broker in the conflict with Israel.

Last week, unconfirmed reports once again suggested that the Trump administration has been working on a comprehensive plan for peace in the Middle East. The full details of the plan remain unknown at this time.

Sarah Brightman & Andrea Bocelli - Time to Say Goodbye (1997)

In November 1996, Andrea and Sarah Brightman were invited to perform the duet 'Time To Say Goodbye (Con Te PartirĂ²)' at the farewell contest of the German World Light-Heavyweight boxing champion, Henry Maske. A national hero held in unrivaled esteem, he is known for his love of selecting entrance themes to his bouts. Sarah Brightman, the internationally renowned soprano and friend of Henry Maske heard 'Con Te PartirĂ²' in a restaurant while dining with her friends. Entranced by the singer and the song, Brightman made contact with Andrea. Andrea and Brightman re-recorded 'Con Te PartirĂ²' as the duet 'Time To Say Goodbye' with members of the London Symphony Orchestra. This live version is from Brightman's first full concert recording, "Sarah Brightman: In Concert", from London's Royal Albert Hall with the London Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Paul Bateman. Guest artists include Andrew Lloyd Webber, Adam Clark and Andrea Bocelli. The concert was released to video in 1998. The concert was directed by David Mallet.
