The Three Musketeers at the Kotel The Three are Rabbi Yehuda Glick, famous temple mount activist, and former Israel Mk, and then Robert Weinger, the world's greatest shofar blower and seller of Shofars, and myself after we had gone to the 12 gates of the Temple Mount in 2020 to blow the shofar to ask G-d to heal the world from the Pandemic. It was a highlight to my experience in living in Israel and I put it on my blog each day to remember. The articles that I include each day are those that I find interesting, so I feel you will find them interesting as well. I don't always agree with all the points of each article but found them interesting or important to share with you, my readers, and friends. It is cathartic for me to share my thoughts and frustrations with you about life in general and in Israel. As a Rabbi, I try to teach and share the Torah of the G-d of Israel as a modern Orthodox Rabbi. This is nothing new. Dr. Alex Grobman  The Palestinian Authority (PA) never wastes an opportunity to foment incitement against Israel. Since the US and Israel launched a military campaign against the Iranian regime on February 28, 2026, Israel initiated a nationwide state of emergency prohibiting mass gatherings at all major religious places of worship, including the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Western Wall, and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, citing the risk of retaliatory missile strikes in densely populated areas. This emergency closure provided the PA with a convenient excuse to formally denounce the suspension of access to the site, claiming it prevented Muslims from fulfilling religious obligations during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr for the first time since 1967. https://www.israelnationalnews... By Eduardo Ariedo  A GPS Can't WoWe rely daily on the GPS on our phones to get to many different places in our lives. However, the technology stops working in the depths of the ocean, which is why submarines need something different. That is because satellite signals cannot pass through ocean water efficiently, forcing these underwater vessels to rely on alternative systems in order to navigate. To steer these submarines, which can stay underwater for months and travel practically blind, one of the main systems used is the Inertial Navigation System (INS). This tool is capable of calculating movement and direction the submarine is headed, without external references to guide the crew. This helps keep routes safe, especially when the ocean blocks most other types of communication. In addition, the crew also has other ways to figure out where they are. It's possible to combine these calculations with detailed maps of the ocean's underwater terrain and other procedures to reduce the chance of error. So, even though they don't have GPS access like we do on the surface, submarines have other alternatives to not get lost during a mission. Yom HaShoah in Israel: April 13th-14th, 2026 Yom HaShoah is Israel’s Holocaust Memorial Day, a day which is marked across the country every year as a national holiday and day of remembrance. Yom HaShoah in Israel usually falls in late April or early May, and runs from sundown one day to sundown the next, according to the Jewish calendar. In 2026, Yom HaShoah in Israel will fall from sundown on April 13th to sundown on April 14th. Memorial events normally take place around the country, the most famous of which is at Yad Vashem, Israel’s National Holocaust Memorial. During this ceremony, the President and Prime Minister deliver speeches and Holocaust Survivors light six torches, which symbolize the six million Jews who perished. Throughout the country, every school, military base, town, city, village, and public institution has a ceremony to mark the event. At 10:00 am, Israel famously comes to halt when the siren is sounded around the country for two minutes. Even cars on the highways stop, and drivers stand in silence on the side of the road. This siren also sounds on Yom Hazikaron, the memorial day for fallen Israeli soldiers. Yom HaShoah is a solemn time to be in Israel. The law prohibits places of public entertainment from being open either on the evening before or day of Yom HaShoah, and the mood of the country changes dramatically during the period.
