Get to Heaven Keep the Seven

Everybody wants spirituality. To be a good person means to walk in G-d's ways. How does that translate to reality? The only guidebook to spirituality that has stood the test of time is the Hebrew Bible. The Bible says that the Jews will be a light onto the nations. But if you are not a born Jew, you have to convert, which is not so easy!! If you do convert, it is a lot of work to be a Jew (three times a day prayer, keeping kosher, observing the Sabbath).

This blog will show you how to be Jewish without the work!!

The True Video that has  the world upset--Bibi calls it as it is

Rabbi Yehuda Lave

Accepting Gratitude

When someone expresses gratitude for something you have done, express your gratitude for that person's gratitude. By accepting that person's words of gratitude, you are making it more likely that this person will continue to express gratitude to others.

Forbes Names Darshan-Leitner Amongst Top 50 Israeli Women

Nitsana Darshan-Leitner listed as one of the 50 most influential Israeli women of 2016In July, a federal lawsuit was filed in New York against Facebook on behalf of bereaved families of terror victims. The families demanded $1 billion in compensation from the social network, claiming that it has provided services to Hamas, and has the power to monitor terrorist incitement on its platform, but chooses not to do so. The lawsuit against Facebook was filed around the same time that Israel's Internal Security Minister, Gilad Erdan, harshly criticized Mark Zuckerberg for failing to curb incitement on Facebook. The real force behind the initiatives to stop social media incitement is Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, the head of Shurat HaDin - Israel Law Center, established in 2002 with several partners.

Shurat HaDin is a registered NGO and a Jewish legal rights organization that provides legal representation to terror victims and goes on the offensive against entities that finance terrorism and terror organizations. Shurat HaDin is now trying to fight incitement and the promotion of terrorism on social networks, in the belief that social media giants Facebook and Twitter should take responsibility for monitoring the content on their platforms.

Legal Warfare

Darshan-Leitner, married with six children, was born in Petah Tikva and grew up in a religious home. As a child she dreamed of becoming a doctor, but after completing her national service at Magen David Adom, went on to pursue a law degree at Bar Ilan University. After graduating, the young lawyer began to take on pro-bono cases. For example, she represented a belly dancer who filed a harassment suit against the Egyptian ambassador to Israel, Mohammed Bassiouni. Following the Bassiouni case, she established her reputation as a legal fighter on behalf of terror victims.

In a recent initiaive last month, Darshan-Leitner filed a petition in Israel's Supreme Court, arguing that Israel's new reconciliation agreement with Turkey allows Hamas to continue operating within Turkish borders, endangering Israel and its citizens.

As head of Shurat HaDin, Darshan-Leitner has accrued an extensive list of legal victories worldwide, as well as in the Israeli Supreme Court. It is anticipated that her influence as one of the most prominent Israeli activists will continue to grow and that her numerous legal initiatives will continue to gain momentum.Copyright © 2016 Shurat HaDin, All rights reserved.

Israel's very own David Kilimnick is in The Laugh Factory's "Funniest Person in the World" Competition!

View Now and Help David Kilimnick Be a Part of a Peace Initiative through Smiles and Laughter

We at Off The Wall are honored to present David Kilimnick, who will be representing Israel in the 'Funniest Person in the World' competition.

David Kilimnick helped bring laughter to Jerusalem, by opening the Off The Wall Comedy Basement and keeping it running for around 10 years with his unique style and flair. As an Oleh (immigrant to Israel), David also initiated the push for English speaking comedy in Israel, quoted as being Israel's 'Father of Anglo Comedy' (JPost). David has pushed the endeavor of bringing happiness to his adopted country and now he is bringing his country's laughter to the world.

Support David in his quest to bring the good word and joy of Israel comedy to the rest of the world. Showing the world that Israelis know how to laugh in a holy way is what David brings to the stage.

You can participate in the first round, by viewing and sharing David's video at http://indi.com/7fzfx.

Israel didn't bring home enough Gold Medals from Rio, and didn't win The World Cup? However, we do have the opportunity to bring peace to the world through Laugh Factory's "The Funniest Person in the World" and help David Kilimnick win the grand prize. Maybe even help David become a useful tax paying citizen of the Mdina (Israel).

This year 56 countries are participating from around the world, with 89 participants competing for the Grand Finale taking place in Finland – which was recently named "One Of The Happiest Countries On Earth" – from December 4th to December 10th in Helsinki. We as a country have an opportunity to support this movement toward peace, and acceptance of Israel.

This competition is a country's endeavor. David needs the support of the country to make it to the finals. Now it is in your hands. Go to http://indi.com/7fzfx to view and share around the web.
