Get to Heaven Keep the Seven

Everybody wants spirituality. To be a good person means to walk in G-d's ways. How does that translate to reality? The only guidebook to spirituality that has stood the test of time is the Hebrew Bible. The Bible says that the Jews will be a light onto the nations. But if you are not a born Jew, you have to convert, which is not so easy!! If you do convert, it is a lot of work to be a Jew (three times a day prayer, keeping kosher, observing the Sabbath).

This blog will show you how to be Jewish without the work!!

Build Relationships On Common Goals

Two people who want to have a good relationship need to be aware of a basic principle: When each one tries to pull the other to his own direction, there will be conflict and constant quarrel.

But when people focus on their common goals, the differences between them will not cause difficulties, and they will have a peaceful relationship.

Whenever you find yourself about to quarrel with another person, ask yourself, "What goals do we have in common?" This way of looking at the situation will make it easier for you to find a solution that will be satisfactory to both

This is especially important now that I am married, and I constantly try to pull in the same direction as my wife.

Reversal: If You Say 'Polish Death Camps' PM Morawiecki Won't Lock You Up

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on Wednesday announced he was going to change the law that threatened scholars and other individuals who normally seek protection for their freedom of expression with a prison sentence for suggesting that Poles and the Polish nation aided and abetted the Germans in their annihilation of Jews during WW2.

In what is broadly known as the "Polish death camp" controversy, in February 2018 Polish President Andrzej Duda signed into law an amendment to the Act on the Institute of National Remembrance, criminalizing statements that ascribe collective responsibility in Holocaust-related crimes to the Polish nation. It was commonly understood that the amended law would criminalize the use of the expressions "Polish death camp" and "Polish concentration camp."

Israeli officials and Jewish American organizations have criticized the new law, calling it as an attempt to restrict discussion of anti-Semitism in Poland and of the culpability of the Poles in the Holocaust. Auschwitz survivor Freda Wineman reflected the views of the vast majority of Israelis when she told The Jerusalem Post at the time: "After all these years, they want to have the blame removed, as if they didn't have anything to do with it, they want to whitewash it in their favor."

Now PM Morawiecki says he asked Poland's lower house to remove the prison penalty from the law, and lawmakers on Wednesday morning began a debate on the changes.

"We retreated from the criminal provisions," a spokesman for the PM stated, suggesting this penalty diverted attention from the legislation's core effort to alter the way the world views the behavior of Poles during the war.

The original 1998 Institute of National Remembrance Act already specifically criminalized "public denial, against the facts, of Nazi crimes, communist crimes, and other offenses constituting crimes against peace, crimes against humanity or war crimes, committed against persons of Polish nationality or against Polish citizens of other nationalities, between 1 September 1939 and 31 July 1990," punishing such denial with a fine or imprisonment for up to 3 years.

The amendment signed into law in February 2018 criminalized public statements that ascribe to the Polish nation collective responsibility in Holocaust-related crimes, crimes against peace, crimes against humanity, or war crimes, or "grossly reduce the responsibility of the actual perpetrators." Exempted from such penalties were scholarly studies, discussions of history, and artistic works.

G-d will provide

A young woman brought her fiancé home to meet her parents. After dinner,

her mother told the girl's father to find out about the young man.

The father invited the fiancé to his study for a talk.

"So, what are your plans?" the father asked the young man.

"I am a biblical scholar," he replied.

"A biblical scholar, hmmm?" the father said. "Admirable, but what will you

do to provide a nice house for my daughter to live in?"

"I will study," the young man replied, "and God will provide for us."

"And how will you buy her a beautiful engagement ring, such as she

deserves?" asked the father.

"I will concentrate on my studies," the young man replied, "God will provide

for us."

"And children?" asked the father. "How will you support children?"

"Don't worry, sir, God will provide," replied the fiancé.

The conversation proceeded like this...and each time the father questioned,

the young idealist insisted that God would provide.

Later, the mother asked, "How did your talk go, honey?"

The father answered,  He has no job, he has

no plans, and he thinks I'm God."

PRINCE WILLIAM AT YAD VASHEM: WE MUST NOT FORGET

Can't see images? Click here...

Yehuda Lave, Spiritual Advisor and Counselor

It is "normal" to complain about what we lack and what others fail to do for us. But to be grateful for what we have and for whatever others give us, is what connects us to our true, G-dly selves. That's what a blessing is all about. Bless whatever body parts are working! Bless your fingers and your feet and your eyes today. Bless those who bring you a sense of joy and love. And bless those who have been harsh and critical for having forced you to find the source of love within yourself and for having taught you not to rely on them for your sense of self-worth.

PRINCE WILLIAM AT YAD VASHEM: WE MUST NOT FORGET

We must not forget the Holocaust – the murder of 6 million men, women and children, simply because they were Jewish."BY HERB KEINON  JUNE 26, 2018

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara greeted Prince William at their residence in Jerusalem on Tuesday, after the Duke of Cambridge began his first full day in Israel with a visit to Yad Vashem.

Following his trip to Yad Vashem, where he toured the museum, laid a wreath in the Hall of Remembrance, and met two survivors from the Kindertransport, William wrote in the guest book that his visit was "profoundly moving."

"It is almost impossible to comprehend this appalling event in history. Every name, photograph and memory recorded her is a tragic reminder of the unimaginable human cost of the Holocaust and the immense loss suffered by the Jewish people," he wrote.

"The story of the Holocaust is one of darkness and despair, questioning humanity itself. But the actions of those few who took great risks to help others are a reminder of the human capacity for love and hope. I am honored that my own great grandmother is one of these Righteous Among the Nations."

William's great-grandmother, Princess Alice of Greece, saved Jews in Greece during the Holocaust. She is buried in Jerusalem, and William will visit her grave on Thursday.

"We must not forget the Holocaust – the murder of 6 million men, women and children, simply because they were Jewish," William wrote. "We all have a responsibility to remember and teach future generations about the horror of the past so that they can never reoccur. May the millions of Jewish people remembered by Yad Vashem never be forgotten."

William toured the Yad Vashem Museum accompanied by Yad Vashem Chairman Avner Shalev, and Britain's Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis.

Neither William nor Netanyahu made any comments before their meeting. The two are expected to speak this evening at a reception for the price at the British ambassador's residence in Ramat Gan.

Prince William Stoned by Palestinian Arabs During his Visit to Ramallah By Avi Abelow - June 27, 2018

You probably won't see this in the mainstream news. Israeli media is reporting that on his drive North of Ramallah, "palestinian" Arab kids threw stones at Prince William's car.

As Prince William's convoy was driving through the Jelazun refugee camp North of Ramallah kids threw rocks at his car. This was a very embarrassing event for Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Authority. The official excuse for the stoning of Prince William was that they didn't "prepare" the residents of the refugee camp for the Prince's arrival.

At this moment, no video footage of the stoning has been released. Here is a video of Prince William's visit in Ramallah with Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas.

10 Warning Signs Your Heart Isn't Working Properly

How to Prevent Heart Disease.

About 610,000 people die from heart disease each year in the U.S. alone.

There are tons of factors that can cause a person to develop heart problems, but most of them come down to poor lifestyle choices.

Your body gives you warning signs early on so that you can catch an illness in its early stages or even prevent it altogether and save your life.

Here are 10 of the most common red flags that indicate bad heart health.

A cough that won't quit 1:38 A persistent cough can be a symptom of all kinds of health issues, and cardiovascular disease is one of them. For instance, a chronic cough that produces a pinkish bloody liquid is very common in people with heart failure. Despite what it sounds like, heart failure doesn't mean that the heart completely stops beating. It just means that a person's heart isn't pumping blood as well as it should be. As a result, the body doesn't get enough oxygen since it's carried to all the tissues by the blood.

Nausea and loss of appetite 3:07 A lot of heart disease patients show a lack of appetite, nausea, or both, even if they've had just a couple bites of food. The reason for that is built-up fluid around the liver and intestines that interferes with proper digestion. These symptoms are usually accompanied by abdominal pain, upset stomach, or feeling bloated. In fact, abdominal cramps that come and go in short spurts are extremely common right before a heart attack.

Your skin becomes paler or takes on a bluish tint 5:28 Being naturally pale doesn't necessarily mean you have a heart condition. But sudden paleness can be a result of reduced blood flow due to a heart that's not pumping blood as effectively as it should be. Shock, which can be caused by any condition that prevents the blood in your body from circulating properly, is the main reason why people who are suffering from a heart attack or heart failure turn pale all of a sudden.

Chronic or sudden fatigue 7:02 Fatigue can be one of the main symptoms indicating an impending heart attack. Women are more likely to experience heart-related fatigue than men, with 70% of female heart attack patients reporting that they'd felt extremely tired before their episode. Physical or mental activity isn't the reason for such exhaustion, and it increases by the end of the day if it's due to a failing heart. It's really hard for this symptom to go unnoticed. Sometimes it's exhausting just to perform even the simplest tasks, like making the bed or taking a shower

Pain that spreads to the arm 1:01

9. A cough that won't quit 1:38

8. Swollen legs, ankles, and feet 2:25 7. Nausea and loss of appetite 3:07

6. Extreme levels of anxiety 3:47

5. Lightheadedness or fainting 4:26

4. Your skin becomes paler or takes on a bluish tint 5:28

3. Skin rashes or unusual spots 6:20

2. Chronic or sudden fatigue 7:02

1. Increased perspiration 7:45

SUMMARY -If their heart isn't working properly, a lot of men feel pain in their left arm, while women experience the same pain in either or both arms. -A persistent cough can be a symptom of all kinds of health issues, and cardiovascular disease is one of them. -When your heart isn't pumping enough blood through the body, fluid from your blood vessels leaks into surrounding tissues. Your lower extremities are the most affected simply due to gravity. -A lot of heart disease patients show a lack of appetite, nausea, or both, even if they've had just a couple bites of food. -People who suffer from extreme anxiety from a very early age or most of their life are more prone to developing coronary heart disease. -Feeling lightheaded and experiencing temporary loss of consciousness, also known in the scientific community as "syncope", is super common among heart patients. -Sudden paleness can be a result of reduced blood flow due to a heart that's not pumping blood as effectively as it should be. -People with eczema were found to have a 48% chance of suffering from high blood pressure and a 29% possibility of having high cholesterol. -Sometimes it's exhausting just to perform even the simplest tasks, like making the bed or taking a shower before a heart attack. -People experience flu-like symptoms, have clammy skin, and sweat regardless of the air temperature or physical exertion. A lazy ant

was given a pep talk by one of his peers.  "Be like us, pick that crumb," he was told, but the ant just wanted to wander round and enjoy the fresh air.  "It's time to go back," they told him, but the lazy ant just wanted to experience nightfall, a true night, under the stars, not just another in an overpacked tunnel.

So they departed without him, leaving him in the moonlight with no crumbs or tasks to do.  A peaceful breeze came in that gave warmth, and then the howling of the night added to the suspense.  The ant was all alone, with no one on his back to tell him what to do. It was freedom.

He felt like an ant prince with no wings, a little boat drifting aimlessly, or even a loose machine gone wild.  A single sparrow chirped its last song and tumbled to the ground. The ant snuggled under her feathers to enjoy the passing warmth.  It was a good time to think. He had never done this before, he had always been maneuvered by others to do what they wanted him to. But even this contemplation was disturbed when a wise toad told him that 'a camel lost at sea does not drink water.'  But the ant didn't care, he was drawn by this freedom like an anteater to the nest.

The singing bird had become cold and it was morning.  The monkeys were chimping with joy and the antelopes were dodging the chase.  Observing this, he concluded that everything has its place in order.

The ant became hungry and decided that it was time to return to his nest.  As he made his way through the devastation of the colony that indeed was caused by the anteater, he realised he was being ignored.

Amid the turmoil there was an order of sorts, but no one to trust and this had generated a controlled chaos.

The now wise ant continued to enjoy doing his tasks without anyone telling him

what to do.
