It was a highlight to my experience in living in Israel and I put it on my blog each day to remember. The articles that I include each day are those that I find interesting, so I feel you will find them interesting as well. I don't always agree with all the points of each article but found them interesting or important to share with you, my readers, and friends. It is cathartic for me to share my thoughts and frustrations with you about life in general and in Israel. Pharoh then dreams a dream which no one is able to interpret. And then the Chief Butler remembers Joseph., who is summoned to the palace to interpret Pharoh's dream. As a result of the successful interpretation, Joseph is appointed to a senior position, symbolized by his being given Pharoh's ring. Joseph is enrobed with royal garments and here the darkness gives way to the light at the end of the tunnel. All this transpires as Joseph is thirty years old and this is alluded to by the addition to the letter "lamed" (whose numerical value is thirty) in the word "vayalbeish" (and he attired him) (Genesis 41;42).
