Get to Heaven Keep the Seven

Everybody wants spirituality. To be a good person means to walk in G-d's ways. How does that translate to reality? The only guidebook to spirituality that has stood the test of time is the Hebrew Bible. The Bible says that the Jews will be a light onto the nations. But if you are not a born Jew, you have to convert, which is not so easy!! If you do convert, it is a lot of work to be a Jew (three times a day prayer, keeping kosher, observing the Sabbath).

This blog will show you how to be Jewish without the work!!

A new and innnovative treatment for Arthritis

The Greatest Day of Your Life

What would help you view today as the greatest day of your life? If today you have a greater awareness of your immense intrinsic value than ever before, then today is the greatest day of your life. If today you decide to upgrade your character beyond ways that you have done before, then today is the greatest day of your life. If today you make goals and plans that go beyond previous goals and plans, then today is the greatest day of your life.

If today you have a greater spiritual awareness and feel more connected with the Creator than ever before, then today is the greatest day of your life.

A New and Innovative Treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis

People who have rheumatoid arthritis experience pain, swelling and difficulty in movement, and these symptoms become unbearable as time passes. About 1.5 million people in the United States are diagnosed with the disease, and it affects not only their health but also their socio-economic status and even their mental state. Treatments for the disease are not always 100% effective, but a study conducted at the University of California, San Diego, shows hope that all these symptoms can be effectively alleviated with a new and unique technology - injecting "nanosponges" into the joints. According to the study, if you begin to treat the disease in its early stages, you can even prevent it from deteriorating, and this is especially good news for each and every one of us, as the cause of the disease is unknown and everyone may suffer from it at some point in life.
rheumatoid Arthritis

How is rheumatoid arthritis treated today?

Today it is customary to treat the disease in three different ways:

  • Drug therapy - This is the first line of treatment for the disease, and it includes the administration of a chemotherapy drug called methotrexate. If there is no improvement in the condition, other drugs, such as hydroxychloroquine and sulfasalazineare incorporated.
  • Surgery - Surgery is sometimes performed, such as joint replacement surgery, cervical spine fixation, or joint and foot joint removal surgery, whose purpose is to improve patients' functioning.
  • Non-drug treatments - These are treatments to strengthen the muscles and reduce pain, such as occupational therapy, staying in healing centers and physiotherapy.

Although these treatments may help in the early stages of the disease, they do not always help prevent it from developing, and as it progresses, more complex treatments are required. It is, therefore, necessary to find a different and more efficient solution, and perhaps such a solution has already been found.

A new and innovative treatment for rheumatoid arthritis

A new treatment, which has been tested on mice, uses a substance called "nano-sponge." This material is injected directly into the affected joints, and it helps absorb proteins that cause inflammation in the joints. In the experiments, it was found that the treatment helps to control advanced stages of the disease and prevent it from developing as long as it is performed in its early stages.
A "nano-sponge" is actually a nanoparticle that is about a billionth of a meter in size. The material is made up of a biodegradable polymer that is coated with the membranes of neutrophil cells, which are cells belonging to the immune system. When rheumatoid arthritis develops, the joint cells secrete an inflammatory protein called cytokine. When this occurs, the body is alerted to release neutrophil cells to the joints, but cytokine binds to the neutrophil, and the body excretes more of that protein. In the end, this repetitive process causes joint stiffness, but the "nano-sponge" posing as neutrophil inhibits cytokine adherence, which means that the process is stopped and damage to the joints is diminished.
However, Professor Lifen Zhang of the University of California, San Diego, states that we are still far from finding an absolute cure for the disease because cytokine secretion is a process that occurs only in one form of rheumatoid arthritis. However, this treatment can certainly make life easier for those who suffer from it, especially in the early stages of the disease, since as proven by trials, it effectively prevents its worsening.
LET THE TRUTH BE TOLD

LET THE TRUTH BE TOLD ATY

Winston S. Churchill:
"Some people like the Jews, and some do not. But no thoughtful man can deny the fact
that they are, beyond any question, the most formidable and most remarkable race
which has appeared in the world.

John F. Kennedy:
Israel was not created in order to disappear-Israel will endure and flourish.
It is the child of hope and the home of the brave. It can neither be broken by adversity
nor demoralized by success.
It carries the shield of democracy and it honors the sword of freedom.

David Ben Gurion:
"In Israel , in order to be a realist, you must believe in miracles."

Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe:
"Energy is the basis of everything. Every Jew, no matter how insignificant, is engaged in some decisive and immediate pursuit of a goal. It is the most perpetual people of the earth."

John Adams:
"I will insist the Hebrews have [contributed] more to civilize men than any other nation.
If I was an atheist and believed in blind eternal fate, I should still believe that fate had ordained
the Jews to be the most essential instrument for civilizing the nations. They are the most
glorious nation that ever inhabited this Earth. The Romans and their empire
were but a bubble in comparison to the Jews."

Leo Tolstoy:
"What is the Jew?
What kind of unique creature is this whom all the rulers of all the nations of the world
have disgraced and crushed and expelled and destroyed; persecuted, burned and drowned,
and who, despite their anger and their fury, continues to live and to flourish.
What is this Jew whom they have never succeeded in enticing with all the enticements in the world,
whose oppressors and persecutors only suggested that he deny (and disown) his religion
on and cast aside the faithfulness of his ancestors?!
The Jew - is the symbol of eternity. … He is the one who for so long had guarded
the prophetic message and transmitted it to all mankind. A people such as this can never disappear.
The Jew is eternal. He is the embodiment of eternity."

Eric Hoffer:
"The Jews are a peculiar people:
Things permitted to other nations are forbidden to the Jews. Other nations drive out thousands,
even millions of people, and there is no refugee problem. Russia did it. Poland and Czechoslovakia did it.
Turkey threw out a million Greeks and Algeria a million Frenchmen. Indonesia threw out heaven
knows how many Chinese--and no one says a word about refugees. But in the case of Israel,
the displaced Arabs have become eternal refugees. Everyone insists that Israel must take back every
single Arab. Arnold Toynbee calls the displacement of the Arabs an atrocity greater than any committed
by the Nazis. Other nations when victorious on the battlefield dictate peace terms. But when Israel is
victorious it must sue for peace. Everyone expects the Jews to be the only real Christians in this world."

Mark Twain:
"...If statistics are right, the Jews constitute but one percent of the human race.
It suggests a nebulous dim puff of stardust lost in the blaze of the Milky way.
Properly, the Jew ought hardly to be heard of, but he is heard of, has always been
heard of. He is as prominent on the planet as any other people, and his commercial
importance is extravagantly out of proportion to the smallness of his bulk. His
contributions to the world's list of great names in literature, science, art, music,
finance, medicine, and abstruse learning are also away out of proportion to the weakness
of his numbers. He has made a marvelous fight in this world, in all the ages; and had done
it with his hands tied behind him. He could be vain of himself, and be excused for it.
The Egyptian, the Babylonian, and the Persian rose, filled the planet with sound and splendor,
then faded to dream-stuff and passed away; the Greek and the Roman followed; and made a
vast noise, and they are gone; other people have sprung up and held their torch high for a time,
but it burned out, and they sit in twilight now, or have vanished. The Jew saw them all,
beat them all, and is now what he always was, exhibiting no decadence, no infirmities of age,
no weakening of his parts, no slowing of his energies, no dulling of his alert and aggressive mind.
All things are mortal but the Jew; all other forces pass, but he remains.
What is the secret of his immortality?"

Tragedy was averted in northern Jerusalem Friday morning, after a small child wandered onto train tracks.

The incident occurred on the light rail train line early Friday morning, between Ammunition Hill and the Givat Hamivtar neighborhood.

As the northbound train approached the Givat Hamivtar station, the conductor suddenly spotted a toddler who had wandered onto the train tracks.

The young girl appeared oblivious to the train's approach as she played with a toy baby carriage on the tracks.

The train conductor managed to brake early enough to narrowly avoid hitting the girl, with the train coming to a halt just yards away from the child.

After the train stopped, the conductor waited for the girl's mother to retrieve her daughter.

Following the incident, a spokesperson for the Jerusalem light rail system released a statement urging parents to take care to ensure that children do not approach the train tracks.

"Parents please watch your children very carefully – even during the holiday season. Do not approach the train's path, and do not play near it. The train tracks are not a playground."

9 Ways to Extend Your Android's Battery Life

Use these tips to keep your Android smartphone running while on the go

We've all been there. You're away from home, and your Android's battery is quickly slipping away. You need to squeeze out all the battery life you can until you can plug in, but that's not for several hours. What's a desperate on the go, have-to-be-connected person to do?

Luckily, there many ways you can conserve battery life, whether you're down to almost nothing or looking to keep your Android going longer as a general practice. Here are nine ways to save battery life whether you're at flying high at 75 percent or lurching toward 10 percent or less.

Note: The tips below should apply no matter who made your Android phone: Samsung, Google, Huawei, Xiaomi, etc.

  1. Shut it down. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, location Services, and NFC, that is. If you're not using it, turn it off. Switch on Airplane mode if you're somewhere with a poor signal, so your phone doesn't keep trying to connect.
  2. No really, shut it down. Better yet, power the phone off until you need it again. If you're not waiting for an important call or text, just unplug for a bit. Maybe even read a book!
  3. Why so bright? Your screen can easily devour battery life if you don't pay attention. In those dire moments when you need a battery extension, turn down the brightness a couple notches.
  4. Find the culprit. Look at which apps are taking up the most battery life by going into the application manager and looking at the apps currently running on your phone. Here, you can see how much bandwidth each app is using, and even force stop it, if necessary.
  5. Keep it simple. OK, this is obvious, but it has to be said: avoid using power hungry apps like games and videos, and any app that's powered by ads, thus requiring a network connection.

  1. Join the Lollipop Guild, the Marshmallow Brigade or just have an Oreo? Introduced in Android Lollipop, a power saving mode turns off haptic feedback (vibration) on your keyboard, dims your screen, and slows down your smartphone. Marshmallow added a Doze Mode, which kicks in when your device is idle for an extended period of time and keeps apps from running in the background. Android 8, aka Oreo, was tweaked to ensure background apps behave better and don't eat up so much battery life. In other words, upgrade your OS!
  2. Of course, there's an app for that. Download a task killer app like Clean Master or Juice Defender, which help manage power-hungry apps and adjust battery-draining settings in the background to keep your phone running efficiently.
  3. Get to the Rooting of the Problem. Rooting offers battery-saving benefits. First, you can clean up your phone by removing bloatware, and at the same time, you can access apps designed for rooted phones that can help you save on battery life, such as Greenify.

  1. Always bring backup. Finally, get a smartphone case with a built-in battery. You can find charging cases in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes from Mophie, PowerSkin and uNu. Alternatively, you can purchase a portable charger from Anker, PhoneSuit, Powermat, and others.

In the meantime, Android smartphones are becoming more and more efficient, while Google adds more power-saving features to the OS. For example, the Marshmallow 6.0 update includes Doze Mode, which prevents apps from checking for updates when the phone has been idle for a while, and a Do Not Disturb feature, which, when enabled, lets you choose which notifications come through for a set period of time. Manufacturers have added their own features, such as Samsung's ultra power saving mode, which changes your screen to a grayscale theme and limits app usag
