Get to Heaven Keep the Seven

Everybody wants spirituality. To be a good person means to walk in G-d's ways. How does that translate to reality? The only guidebook to spirituality that has stood the test of time is the Hebrew Bible. The Bible says that the Jews will be a light onto the nations. But if you are not a born Jew, you have to convert, which is not so easy!! If you do convert, it is a lot of work to be a Jew (three times a day prayer, keeping kosher, observing the Sabbath).

This blog will show you how to be Jewish without the work!!

Grow From Your Daily Routine

Character is developed one positive action at a time. Therefore nothing is actually trivial in our lives. To grow in character development, pay attention to seemingly trivial matters. Someone who grows from each minor life event will eventually reach high levels of character perfection.

Today, think about one character trait that you can develop further by paying close attention to a seemingly trivial aspect of your daily routine.

I have a mitzvah opportunity for those that want to help. I have a hard working friend that works as a cleaner here in Jerusalem even though he has a college education in Europe where he is from. He works very hard, but even with his hard work he is not able to pay for his teeth that need to be redone. He needs 6,000 scheckels for his repair and we all know how hard it is to eat with bad teeth and it is hard for him to work with the pain. I have one generous friend that gave him 3,000, 1/2 of what he needs, and I said I would break my rule of normally not sharing such stories of need for him. If you want to help him let me know.

PRESIDENT TRUMP PROCLAIMS MAY 'JEWISH AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH'

"I call upon all Americans to celebrate the heritage and contributions of American Jews and to observe this month with appropriate programs, activities, and ceremonies."

President Donald Trump declared May to be Jewish American Heritage Month in a press release Friday.

"During Jewish American Heritage Month, we celebrate our nation's strong American Jewish heritage, rooted in the ancient faith and traditions of the Jewish people," Trump said

Trump mentioned that the Jewish people have left "an indelible mark on American culture" through an ethical code and tikkun olam, or repairing the world.

He also stated that Jews came to America to escape persecution and violence, and that American Jews have stood for "human freedom, equality and dignity."

Trump said he plans to celebrate the connection between the Jewish people and the United States with his daughter, Ivanka, and his son-in law, Jared Kushner.

"Now, therefore, I, Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim May 2017 as Jewish American Heritage Month. I call upon all Americans to celebrate the heritage and contributions of American Jews and to observe this month with appropriate programs, activities and ceremonies," Trump said in closing.

Last week, Israel observed Holocaust Remembrance Day, and Trump signed a proclamation to observe Holocaust remembrance for the week of April 23-28.

Ivanka was in Berlin at the time, as a panelist at the W20 Summit on women's economic empowerment. She took some time to visit the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, the German capital's Holocaust memorial. Ivanka posted about the visit on Instagram, saying, "I am deeply moved by the history of this memorial, honoring the six million European Jews whose lives were taken during the Holocaust."

According to data released last Sunday, US campuses have seen a rise of 45% in antisemitism.

The Kantor Center for the Study of Contemporary European Jewry at Tel Aviv University, in collaboration with the European Jewish Congress, released its Annual Report on Antisemitism for 2016 during a press conference held at the university.

In the report, US campuses were reported to have become hotbeds for Jew-hatred, often under the guise of anti-Zionism and due to increased pro-Palestinian movements, such as BDS on campuses.

MINNESOTA: First female Muslim Legislator -Democrat, of course!- Votes to FORCE life insurance companies to pay-up even if policy holder is a terrorists and killed while committing terror INSIDE U.S.A.! Today's Democrat Party undoubtedly hates America

MINNESOTA: FIRST FEMALE MUSLIM Legislator Votes To Make Life Insurance Companies Do The UNTHINKABLE For Dead Terrorists [VIDEO]

The first female Muslim legislator in America says that President Trump is a "fascist" (See video below). She also states that the Americans who voted for Trump were motivated by "hate." But apparently, voting to force life insurance companies to pay benefits to terrorists who are killed in the act of committing terror in the United States is an "act of love?" in Democrat Rep. Omar's eyes…

She burst on the scene last August when she upset a 44-year incumbent Democrat in the Minnesota state primary elections to become the nation's first female Muslim state legislator.

Ilhan Omar, the 34-year-old community organizer who came to America as a refugee from Somalia, was touted by Democrats as a model success story.

"From a refugee camp to the State Capitol with intelligence and insight," beamed former Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak, who endorsed Omar. "This is a wonderful story to tell as Americans, and a great source of pride for the state of Minnesota's open arms."

But on Thursday Omar made her mark in another way.

She was one of only two members of the Minnesota State House to vote against a bill that would allow life insurance companies to deny payouts to the beneficiaries of terrorists who die in violent attacks on Americans.

Omar, who represents the heavily immigrant Cedar Riverside area of Minneapolis, was joined by fellow Democratic Rep. John Lesch of St. Paul in voting against the bill.

Omar's vote sticks out because at least 42 Somali refugees have been confirmed by the FBI to have left the U.S. to join overseas terrorist organizations, including al-Shabab, the al-Qaida affiliate in Somalia, and ISIS in Syria and Iraq.

Dozens of other Somali-Americans have been tried and/or convicted of providing material support to overseas terrorists.

The Minneapolis-St. Paul area is home to the nation's largest Somali refugee community.

The Minnesota insurance bill was introduced by Rep. Joe Hoppe, R-Chaska, in response to Syed Farook's jihadist rampage in San Bernardino, California, in December 2015 in which he shot and killed 14 people and injured 22 at an office Christmas party. Farook made sure his life insurance policies worth $275,000 were valid before conducting the deadly shooting with help from his wife, Tashfeen Malik.

After Farook died in a shootout with police, his mother fought to remain the beneficiary of the life insurance policies. The insurance company balked and the case has gone to court.

Democratic Rep. Debra Hilstrom said the goal of the Minnesota bill "is to make certain that folks don't benefit [from terrorism] and this limits the beneficiary to the premiums that were paid in. It limits the exposure for the insurance company when someone is committing an act of terrorism." –WND

MN State Rep. Ilan Omar (D) says President Trump is a "fascist" and that after the elections (not counting her election of course, where MN residents voted to elect the first female Muslim legislator) she was left feeling "betrayed" by "our America." She also states that she believes Americans voted for "despair, hate and divisiveness" when they voted for Donald Trump.
