Get to Heaven Keep the Seven

Everybody wants spirituality. To be a good person means to walk in G-d's ways. How does that translate to reality? The only guidebook to spirituality that has stood the test of time is the Hebrew Bible. The Bible says that the Jews will be a light onto the nations. But if you are not a born Jew, you have to convert, which is not so easy!! If you do convert, it is a lot of work to be a Jew (three times a day prayer, keeping kosher, observing the Sabbath).

This blog will show you how to be Jewish without the work!!

Calculated Risk Proves Israel Can Change the Temple Mount Status Quo

Whatever amount of love and appreciation we give to others is our choice; whatever we get is G‑d's. It is not possible to make people love or like us.

However, a healthy person sees who appreciate and gives love back. He/she then can make an informed and intelligent decision who to spend your time with.

A healthy person spends as much time as possible with people that are willing to nurture back. One doesn't choose consciously our parents or our relatives (Torah says we may choose them before we are born). One has a duty becasue of the instruction to respect our parents and relatives to spend some time with these people even if they are difficult. But when is healthy, one reduces this time to as little as possible and spend your time with those that nurture back.

Calculated Risk Proves Israel Can Change the Temple Mount Status Quo from last Friday to this Friday

There were no Muslim riots or protests in Israel in response to the closure of the Temple Mount and Old City of Jerusalem.

In response to the Temple Mount terror attack on Friday, in which two policemen fell in the line of duty, Israel took three unusual steps.

The first was expected, closing the Temple Mount to everyone as police investigated the attack, including, if any Waqf officials aided the terroristsin conveying and hiding the terrorists' weapons on the Temple Mount.

The second, was detaining the Jerusalem Mufti for incitement, and arresting three suspicious Waqf officials.

The third move Israel took was to shut down the Old City on Friday to non-resident Muslims.

As always happens after a successful Jihadi terror attack, the more bloodthirsty Muslims were riled up, and there were a number of the typical, subsequent attacks against police and civilians.

But, despite the official outrage, demands, threats and pleas by Jordan, the Waqf, Hamas and the Palestinian Authority to reopen the Temple Mount, there was no explosions, no protests, and no riots by the general Muslim population in Israel in response to the closure of the Temple Mount and the Old City of Jerusalem.

Netanyahu said he plans to gradually reopen the Temple Mount to all visitors on Sunday afternoon. He also promised to maintain the so-called status quo (which prohibits Jews from praying on the Temple Mount), despite the Islamists showing no interest in respecting the holiness of the site.

Israeli police would prefer to keep the Temple Mount closed as their investigation continues.

The police also announced they will be changing the security arrangements on the Temple Mount, installing metal detectors and cameras, a move Jordan and the Palestinian Authority have refused to accept in the past.

The police, who are hypersensitive to anything real or imaginary that happens on the Temple Mount, fearing violent Muslim reactions, seem unusually unconcerned that there would be major or mass responses to the Temple Mount's continued closure or the changing of the security arrangements.

If this proves anything, it is that Israel can and should finally act like the sovereign entity on the Temple Mount, and the police can finally discard their irrational fear of what the Muslims may or may not do in response.

On Friday, Israel made a firm decision to close the Temple Mount, backing it up with a strong show of force, and the Muslim population accepted it with relative quiet.

The obvious conclusion is that prayer arrangements can and must be changed so that Jews can also receive their fair share of exclusive time and freedom of worship on the Jewish people's holiest site, without being harassed and watched by the Waqf and other Islamic provocateurs.

Maintaining the status quo hasn't and won't stopped Islamic terror, but a little determination and show of force clearly goes a long way with the general population.

It is important for Bibi to stay strong. If the metal detectors are taken out in response to pressure, it will be very hard to put them back and the Arabs will show violence wins. Please don't let it happen

BlogsShiloh Musings: Israel Should Just Leave The UN! By Batya Medad - 23 Tammuz 5777 – July 16, 2017

Apparently, since Israel has finally been threatening or refusing not to pay some of the dues to the most anti-Israel of the Israel bashing United Nations organizations, we may lose General Assembly voting rights. At least that's what the headline said in the Jerusalem Post:

ISRAEL COULD LOSE UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY VOTING RIGHTS IF DOESN'T PAY BILL

But the actual truth is, if you read the article carefully, if Israel is careful to keep that demonstrative and symbolic non-payment under a certain sum, voting rights should be preserved, unless our diplomatic enemies decide otherwise.

If you consider voting in the UN General Assembly to be all that important I'll tell you that I highly doubt that Israel would let the debt get so high. And we don't know if the threats will be made into reality. Not that I consider membership in the United Nations to be a great metzia. Besides that, our one measly vote doesn't do us any good. Israel is an abused, libeled, ridiculed and maligned minority of one. For years I've wondered why we even stay there.

One big advantage of leaving the United Nations would be banishing all those UN employees, those who work for the UN itself and those who work for the organizations that have as their main agenda the besmirching, maligning and undermining the good name, security and stability of the State of Israel. By cutting all ties we'd be safer!

The recent anti-truth "decision" by UNESCO that our Tomb/Cave of the Patriarchs is Muslim not Jewish gives further proof that there is no search for truth or justice by the United Nations and its organizations. Their vote did not come from ignorance; it is just a very clear manifestation of the blatant anti-Jewish/Israel agenda which is a bedrock of the UN. It's foolish for us to expect anything else.

Just look at history.

The United Nations was established as World War Two ended. Instead of chastising/condemning Great Britain for sabotaging and undermining, by giving more than half the land to the Hashemites and severely restricting Jewish immigration to what remained, its Mandate to establish a Jewish State in "Palestine," it came up with a proposal to further divide the remaining territory and invent another new Arab country. The indefensible bit of land proposed for a Jewish State was then attacked by Arab armies, trained, supported and equipped by British troops. In a miracle of Biblical proportions, the under-equipped and disunited Jewish forces managed a victory, which also consolidated the territory defended and gained into a slightly more defensible country.

From the 1949 ceasefire, until the spring of 1967, Jordan illegally occupied the territory west of the Jordan River to the ceasefire line, aka "green line,"  with Israel. Although this occupation was totally illegal, there were no sanctions against Jordan. During those eighteen years, the UN had some "peacekeeping" forces in the area, especially around the Suez Canal. But in 1967, the minute Egypt's Nasser threatened to destroy Israel and told the UN to move, it fled leaving an easy path for an Egyptian victory.

That was fifty years ago, and although all over the world borders change without anyone really caring, the United Nations has led the campaign against Israel for liberating the Jewish National Homeland, which hadn't had a sovereign independent rule for over two thousand years.

Remember that the UN has fully supported the perpetuation of so-called "palestinian refugees" with UNRWA. UNRWA is a dangerous and malignant organization with a raison d'ĂȘtre to destroy the State of Israel.

Besides UNRWA, we all know that no country in the world is condemned more by the Security Council than Israel.

Why is the State of Israel still a member of the United Nations?

THE THREE STOOGES in court

The Value of a stone

Thank you for sharing Abby Binah and Yoseph Hanson

Value your life

A little boy went to his grandfather and asked him, "What is the value of life grandfather?"

The grandfather gave him a stone and said, "First I want you to find out the value of this stone, but don't sell it."

The boy took the stone to a fruit vendor and asked him what its value would be.

The vendor saw the shiny stone and said, "How about you can take a dozen apples and give me the stone."

The boy apologized and said that his grandfather had asked him not to sell it.

He went ahead and found a vegetable vendor.

"What could be the value of this stone?" he asked the vegetable vendor.

He saw the shiny stone and said, "How about you take a sack of potatoes and give me that stone."

The boy again apologized and said he couldn't sell it.

Further ahead, he went into a jewelry shop and asked the value of the stone.

The jeweler saw the stone under a lens and said, "I will give you one million dollars for this stone."

The boy was surprised, but explained that he couldn't sell the stone.

Further ahead, the boy saw a large shop of precious stones and asked the value of this stone.

When the precious stone shop owner was an expert in these matters. When he saw the stone, he lay down a cloth and put it on it.

Then he walked in circles around the stone and bent down and scratched his head in front of it. "From where did you bring this priceless uncut diamond from?" he asked.

"Even if I sell everything I own, my whole shop, I won't be able to purchase this priceless diamond."

Stunned and confused, the boy returned to his grandfather and told him what had happened.

His grandfather said,

"The answers you got from the fruit vendor, the vegetable vendor, the jeweler and the precious stone's expert explain the value of our life.

You may be a precious stone, even priceless, but, people will value you based on their own limited perceptions, beliefs, motives and expectations. How they value you says more about them than it does about you!

For this reason it is important to value yourself. Respect yourself. No longer indulge in meaningless comparisons with others. For you are unique, original and the only one of your kind in this universe. This is the value of your life.

Associate ever more with those who recognize your true value and ever less with those who see you just as a means to fulfill their own dreams and ambitions.

May you value the diamond in yourself and recognize the diamond in others as well.

See you on Sunday. Good Shabbat
