Everybody wants spirituality. To be a good person means to walk in G-d's ways. How does that translate to reality? The only guidebook to spirituality that has stood the test of time is the Hebrew Bible. The Bible says that the Jews will be a light onto the nations. But if you are not a born Jew, you have to convert, which is not so easy!! If you do convert, it is a lot of work to be a Jew (three times a day prayer, keeping kosher, observing the Sabbath).
This blog will show you how to be Jewish without the work!!
Thank you to all of my friends. With G-d's help, Google turned my account back on yesterday so my blog and my life are back in the saddle. I will continue to use this mailing service however, because I can not trust Google with mulitple emails anymore. I want to still try the other mailing service as well, so next week I will try it a couple of times. It has better features, however, too many of its emails go to Spam. This service has better results. I appreciate all of your support as I experiment with the best results. In the meantime, keep your praying going for the Jewish people as we are under attack again even in our synogouges where anther horrible event took place yesterday. Love Yehuda Lave
You might find it difficult to ask someone a question or to ask someone to help you out. Telling yourself, "Just ask," might make it easier.
Before saying these two words, you might have been debating whether or not to ask. Even though you know you have a right to ask and that it will be beneficial to ask, you feel a bit uncomfortable. As you say to yourself, "Just ask," you might just go ahead and actually ask. In many situations you will find that asking is much easier than you had expected.

And here is a 26 year old Neil Yong singing his famous song about an old man he would one day become.

Three people were murdered and seven wounded in a shooting and ramming attack on Thursday in Gush Etzion.
The IDF reported that an initial inquiry reveals that the terrorists opened fire from a passing vehicle at a shuttle van at the intersection of Alon Shvut, and then carried on towards the Gush Etzion junction — where they collided with a private car. Security forces who arrived at the scene shot one terrorist dead.
MDA forces in Gush Etzion junction reported that after resuscitation attempts medics and paramedics determined the death of an 18-year-old American yeshiva student on the scene.
In addition, the forces provided medical care and evacuated to the Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center a 50-year-old man in very serious condition with a gunshot wound in his upper body. The man was unconscious.
The 50-year-old man, a teacher from Gush Etzion, died from his wounds. The man was identified as Yaacov Don from Alon Shvut.
The third murdered victim in the terror attack was an Arab pedestrian.
Six additional Israelis were lightly injured and evacuated to receive treatment at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
One of the terrorists was killed, a second terrorist was captured with an Uzi sub-machine gun.
President Obama wants more Syrian Muslim refugees in the United States. Speaking in Turkey on Monday, Obama explained that the West 'needed to open its heart to Muslim refugees, who after all were fleeing from terrorism in the Middle East to the safe and warm arms of the West.'
No mention of the Christians being massacred by the thousands, his concern is only for the Muslim refugees. Obama continued to maintain that Islamic radicalism presents no threat to the world.
Obama practically called Americans Islamophobic when he explained that proposals by Republicans to house Christian refugees but not Muslim refugees was un-American:
"When I hear folks say that maybe we should just admit the Christians but not the Muslims, when I hear political leaders suggesting that there would be a religious test for which person who is feeling from a war-torn country is admitted, when some of those folks themselves come from families who benefited from protection when they were fleeing political persecution, that's shameful. That's not American. That's not who we are."
So, to be clear, it's un-American to accept only Christian refugees from a region of the world where they are routinely persecuted for their religious persuasion, despite the heightened risk of terrorism from Muslim refugees. But it's perfectly American for the State Department to consider ruling that Christians living under ISIS rule are not victims of an impending genocide, and to insist that the West house, feed, and clothe Muslim refugees. It's un-American to protect American lives; it's perfectly American to take in un-vetted refugees of the same general religious persuasion as the terrorists of 9/11 and 7/7 and Paris, without regard to the safety of the citizenry.
While the West churns its guts over Muslim refugees, Muslim countries aren't doing so. There are fifty Muslim-majority countries all over the globe. Just five Muslim countries have taken in significant numbers of refugees: Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, and Egypt. Only Egypt does not share a border with Syria. A huge percentage of refugees entering Europe are doing so not directly from Syria, but through Turkey, which has taken in approximately two million refugees but is housing hundreds of thousands in internment camps.
Obama says that decency requires Americans risk their lives and security to save Muslim refugees, many of whom are young, single men, without proper background checks and without any distinction between the capacity of Christians and Muslims to integrate into Christian-based societies.
No shock there. Obama has made it perfectly clear that he prefers Islam over the safety and security of Americans.
