Get to Heaven Keep the Seven

Everybody wants spirituality. To be a good person means to walk in G-d's ways. How does that translate to reality? The only guidebook to spirituality that has stood the test of time is the Hebrew Bible. The Bible says that the Jews will be a light onto the nations. But if you are not a born Jew, you have to convert, which is not so easy!! If you do convert, it is a lot of work to be a Jew (three times a day prayer, keeping kosher, observing the Sabbath).

This blog will show you how to be Jewish without the work!!

Stars and Stripes forever

Rabbi Yehuda Lave

Ask Other People, "What Are You Grateful For?"

A great question to ask other people: "What are you grateful for?"

Most people are grateful for many things, but this isn't necessarily on the forefront of their minds. It's like the thoughts of being grateful are on the hard disk of their mental computer, but not on the screen of their minds. By asking someone, "What are you grateful for?" they bring the thought of gratitude up to their mental screen.

After some people, when they have answered this question, you might add a comment like, "You are fortunate for that." "That's a wonderful thing to be grateful for." "So you always have what to be grateful for."

Best Regards,

Dr. Harold Goldmeier

An old man lay sprawled across three entire seats at a concert.
When the usher came by and noticed this, he whispered to the old man, "Sorry sir, but you're only allowed one seat."
The old man didn't budge.
The usher became more impatient. "Sir, if you don't get up from there I'm going to have to call the manager."
Once again, the old man just muttered and did nothing.
The usher marched briskly back up the aisle, and in a moment he returned with the manager.
Together the two of them tried repeatedly to move the old disheveled man, but with no success.
Finally they summoned the police. The officer surveyed the situation briefly then asked, "All right buddy what's your name?"
"Fred," the old man moaned.
"Where you from, Fred?" asked the police officer.
With a terrible strain in his voice, and without moving,
Fred replied: "The balcony"...

WOMAN. . . . . . . . .

When G-D created woman he was working late on the 6th day.......

An angel came by and asked."

Why spend so much time on her?"

G-D answered:

She must function on all kinds of situations, She must be able to embrace several kids at the same time, Have a hug that can heal anything from a bruised knee to a broken heart, She must do all this with only two hands,"

She cures herself when sick and can work 18 hours a day"

THE ANGEL was impressed"

Just two hands.....impossible!

And this is the standard model?"

The Angel came closer and

touched the woman"

"But you have made her so soft, G-d".

"She is soft", said G-d,

"But I have made her strong.

You can't imagine what she

can endure and overcome"

"Can she think?" The Angel asked...

G-d answered. "Not only can she think,

she can reason and negotiate"

The Angel touched her cheeks....

"G-d, it seems this creation is leaking!

You have put too many burdens on her"

"She is not leaking...it is her tears"

G-d corrected the Angel…

"What's it for?" Asked the Angel..... .

G-d said. "Tears are her way of expressing her grief, her doubts, her love, her loneliness, her suffering and her pride."...

This made a big impression on the Angel, "G-d you are a genius.

You thought of everything.

A woman is indeed marvellous"

G-d said."Indeed she is.

She has strength that amazes a man.

She can handle trouble and

carry heavy burdens.

She holds happiness, love and opinions.

She smiles when she feels like screaming.

She sings when she feels like crying,

cries when happy and laughs when afraid.

She fights for what she believes in.

Her love is unconditional.

Her heart is broken when a next-of-kin or a friend dies but she finds strength to get on with life"

The Angel asked: So she is a perfect being?

G-d replied: No. She has just one drawback "She often forgets what she is worth".
